QuarterWare was envisioned by software developers who had the idea to market their products on a pay-per-use basis instead of relying totally on a sales revenue model.  They were simply missing TOO MANY sales to companies or individuals who either could not afford their applications, or didn’t have a constant need to justify their high cost.

The result is QuarterWare: a unique technology that adapts existing software to a pay-per-use revenue model.

The "plug-in" nature of QuarterWare means a software developer can still market his existing sales product, but can also drink from a steady stream of pay-per-use revenue, without having to support two different versions of code!

Equally as important, QuarterWare technology is not just another spin on ASP technology, where applications are hosted on an Internet server.  QuarterWare compatible programs are actually installed on the user's PC, giving people the ability to work ANYWHERE, without having to be tied to a dedicated Internet connection.  Users can work on a remote job site, on an airplane, at home, anywhere they can take a computer!
